February 5 (SeeNews) - The Romanian and Moldovan units of France Telecom's Internet and mobile arm Orange said on Thursday they will have new chief executive officers as of May 1.
Liudmila Climoc is replacing Jean-Francois Fallacher as the new CEO of Orange Romania, the company said in a press release. Fallacher will pursue other career opportunities at Orange Poland.
Climoc has served as Orange Moldova CEO since 2008. She will be replaced in Moldova by Julien Ducarroz, which has been the Chief Commercial Officer at Orange Romania for seven years.
Climoc has an extensive experience in telecommunications, obtained over the 19 years she has worked in this industry. Under her leadership, Orange Moldova doubled its customer base to over 2.6 million customers at present with a market share of 57% of the mobile sector, the company said.
Orange Romania recorded in the first nine months of 2015 revenues of 697 million euro ($779 million), up 3.2% on the year.
