April 22 (SeeNews) - The revenues of Orange Moldova, a unit of France Telecom's Internet and mobile arm Orange, fell to 32 million euro ($38.4 million) in the first quarter of 2021, from 34 million euro in the same period of the previous year, Orange said on Thursday.
Orange Moldova had 1.987 million customers at the end of March, down from 2.070 million at the end of March 2020, Orange said in an interim financial statement.
The operator's 4G network covered 99% of Moldova's population at the end of March.
Orange Moldova recorded revenues of 137 million euro in 2020, compared to 141 million euro in the previous year.
At group level, Orange posted revenues of 10.32 billion euro in the first quarter of 2021, up 0.5% on the year.
