The revenues of Orange Moldova, a unit of France Telecom's Internet and mobile arm Orange, fell by 5.3% year-on-year in the third quarter to 36 million euro ($41 million), as incoming international traffic remained in decline, Orange said on Thursday.
Orange Moldova had 2.213 million customers at the end of September, up from 2.174 million at the end of 2017, Orange said in an interim financial statement.
The operator's 4G network covers 98% of Moldova's population.
Orange Moldova revenues rose 10% to 137 million euro last year on the back of steady growth in the sales of mobile equipment and fixed broadband driven by convergent offers.
At the group level, Orange posted revenues of 10.307 billion euro in the third quarter of 2018, up 0.6% on the year.
