April 30 (SeeNews) - The revenues of Orange Moldova, a unit of France Telecom's Internet and mobile arm Orange, rose 3% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2019, reaching 33 million euro ($36.7 million), Orange said on Tuesday.
Orange Moldova had 2.096 million customers at the end of March, down from 2.146 million at the end of January-March 2018, Orange said in an interim financial statement.
The operator's 4G network covered 98% of Moldova's population at the end of the review period.
Orange Moldova revenues rose 1.5% to 139 million euro last year.
At group level, Orange posted revenues of 10.18 billion euro in the first quarter of 2019, down 0.1% on the year.
