January 23 (SeeNews) - Оil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] led the decliners among the blue chips on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Monday, bourse data showed.
OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] fell 1.38% to 0.2850 lei, as 23.6 million of the company shares changed hands in the largest trading turnover for the day amounting to 6.7 million lei.
The total equity turnover of the BVB fell to 21.5 million lei ($5.1 million/4.8 million euro) from 38.2 million lei on Friday.
Lender Banca Transilvania [BSE: TLV] posted the day’s second highest turnover of 5.7 million lei, as 2.54 million of the company shares were traded. The lender's shares rose by 0.44% to 2.28 lei.
Blue-chip investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] lost 0.46% to 0.86 lei in the day's third largest turnover of 2.66 million lei.
