May 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria is leading the countries of Southeast Europe (SEE) in terms of the number of fintech companies, according to a recent digital banking report published by Unicredit Group.
About 70 fintech companies are operating in Bulgaria, which ranks the country in third place in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), UniCredit said in its 2018 "Digital banking innovation is shaping CEE growth" report.
The report includes 11 countries - Russia, Turkey, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia.
