SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 20 (SeeNews) – The number of construction permits issued in Bosnia in the fourth quarter increased 6.1% on the year to 962.
The number of building permits issued in the fourth quarter of 2016, compared to the average number of building permits issued in a year earlier, increased 20.0%, the office said in a statement.
The number of permits issued for buildings increased 5.3% on the year in the fourth quarter to 812, while the number of permits issued for civil engineering works rose 10.3% to 150.
Out of the total issued permits from October to December, 763 were for new construction, 87 related to extensions, 14 to reconstructions of dilapidated buildings, 10 to the conversion of non-residential space into dwellings, 9 to other conversion and 79 to other reconstructions.
