SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 26 (SeeNews) – The number of construction permits issued in Bosnia in the second quarter increased 33.7% on the year to 1,027.
The number of building permits issued in the first half of the year rose by an annual 41.3%, the office said in a statement.
The number of permits issued for buildings increased 28.5% on the year in the second quarter to 834, while the number of permits issued for civil engineering works rose 62.2% to 193.
Out of the total issued permits from April to June, 819 were for new construction, 110 related to extensions, 10 to reconstructions of dilapidated buildings, 2 to the conversion of non-residential space into dwellings, 16 to other conversion and 70 to other reconstructions.
