February 21 (SeeNews) - Nuclearelectrica [BSE:SNN], the operator of Romania's sole nuclear power plant Cernavoda, led the gainers among the blue-chips on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
The total equity turnover of the BVB rose to 47.9 million lei ($11.1 million/10.6 million euro) from 26 million lei on Monday.
Nuclearelectrica was the top blue-chip gainer, rising 4.92% to 6.4 lei in 754,532 lei turnover. Its net profit dropped 27% on the year to 108.7 million lei in 2016, the company said in mid-February.
