May 28 (SeeNews) - Norway-based machine building group Rapp Marine is interested in acquiring a plant owned by Serbian car parts manufacturer 21.Oktobar recently put up for sale by the country's privatisation agency, Belgrade-based media reported.
The starting price for the plant which spans more than 10,000 square metres, the production equipment and some four hectares of land, is around 620,000 euro ($802,500), news daily Danas (www.danas.rs) reported on Monday. The future owner will be obliged to keep the plant's eleven workers.

The company plans to relocate the production and workers from its existing plant in Serbia to the 21.Oktobar plant next year, Danas reported.
Rapp Marine bought some 70% of Serbian machine building company Zastava Masine in October 2006, and later renamed it to Rapp Zastava.
Oslo-headquartered Rapp Marine Group develops advanced machinery and equipment for the maritime and offshore oil industries.
