September 19 (SeeNews) - Norwegian company Arbaflame is interested in building a factory for black wooden pellets in Bosnia's Serb Republic, the entity's energy ministry said on Thursday.
The factory could produce 250,000 tonnes of black wooden pellets annually, making it a leader on the Southeast European market, the ministry said in a press release after a meeting between ministry officials and representatives of the company.
Black pellets can be used as a substitute for fossil fuel in thermal power plants, it added.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
