August 11 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based minerals mining company Sileks [MSE:SIL] said its net profit fell 52% year-on-year to 27.1 million denars ($454,119/439,576 euro) in the first half of 2022.
Slileks’ operating revenue rose 1% on the year in the first six months of 2022, to 615.8 million denars, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse on Wednesday.
Domestic sales increased 49% year-on-year to 364.5 million denars in the January-June period, while sales abroad fell 33% to 226.8 million denars.
The company's operating expenses rose 6% to 586.5 million denars in the period under review.
