March 4 (SeeNews) - German wind turbine maker Nordex SE said it has received an order to supply wind turbines for a 120-megawatt (MW) wind farm in Turkey developed by local company Evrencik Elektrik.
The contract includes the supply and installation of 27 turbines at the Evrencik wind farm located in the province of Kirklareli in Eastern Thrace, as well as a 15-year premium service agreement, Nordex said in a statement on Tuesday.
The installation of the first turbines is expected to start in October 2020. The annual yield of the turbines is calculated at a total of around 534 GWh, the statement reads.
Nordex has installed more than 27 GW of wind energy capacity in over 40 markets. The group employs over 6,500 employees and has factories in Germany, Spain, Brazil, the U.S., India, Argentina and Mexico.
