November 30 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's NLB Banka [MSE:TNB], part of Slovenian banking group Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), announced the opening of its leasing unit NLB Lease&Go Skopje.
The leasing unit is expected to start operating by the end of this year, NLB Banka said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.

NLB Lease&Go Skopje is founded by NLB Banka Skopje, which owns 49% of the total founding capital together with Slovenia-based NLB Lease&Go d.o.o. It will cover the leasing of both new and used vehicles, including cars, trucks and buses, vessels, as well as other types of equipment and machines.
Leasing activities have been gaining momentum since NLB Lease&Go entered the Slovenian market in the spring of 2020, to the point that a new leasing company was recently established in North Macedonia and all regulatory approvals were obtained for the purchase of a leasing entity in Serbia, NLB Group said in a separate statement.
North Macedonia's NLB Banka reported a net profit of 2 billion denars ($33.6 million/33.4 million euro) in the first nine months of 2022, up 21% on an annual comparison basis, according to earlier data.
