December 3 (SeeNews) - NLB Banka Beograd, the Serbian unit of Slovenia's largest lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka(NLB), recorded a net profit of 2.7 million euro ($3 million) in the first nine months of 2019, it said on Tuesday.
NLB Banka Beograd extended loans of 284 million euro in the first nine months of 2019, the bank said in an e-mailed statement without providing comparative figures.
The bank booked a net profit of 763.4 million dinars ($7.2 million/6.5 million euro) in the first nine months of 2018, it said in an interim financial statement last year.
"If I should point out what I am most satisfied with, it would certainly be the strengthened confidence of our clients and the results we have achieved in improving not only the products and services but also the processes and IT systems of the bank. This allows us to have a much better quality way to respond to our clients' needs, as well as to implement ambitious plans for the next period," the CEO of NLB Banka Beograd, Branko Greganovic, said.
The consolidated after-tax profit of NLB Group increased by 2% year-on-year to 162.2 million euro in the first nine months of 2019.
