May 25 (SeeNews) - NLB Banka Beograd, the Serbian unit of Slovenia's largest lender, state-owned Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), said on Friday it has booked a net profit of 1.5 million euro ($1.75 million) in the first quarter of 2018.
This compares to a net profit of 353.9 million dinars ($3.5 million/3.0 million euro) in the first three months of 2017 reported by the bank last year.
The net profit of NLB Banka Beograd amounted to 3.8 million euro in 2017, NLB said in an e-mailed statement, without providing comparative figures.
NLB Banka Beograd extended loans with a combined value of 220 million euro in 2017, the bank said.
In April, Slovenia's largest lender, state-owned NLB, said its consolidated net profit rose 105% to 225.1 million euro in 2017.
