December 7 (SeeNews) - NLB Banka Belgrade, the Serbian unit of Slovenia's largest lender, state-owned Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), said on Wednesday it booked a net profit of 3.2 million euro ($3.4 million) in the first nine months of 2016.
It provided no comparative figures.
NLB Banka Belgrade achieved a profitable growth in all business segments and extended loans in the amount of over 100 million euro, executive board chairman, Branko Greganovic, said in a press release.
Revenues fell 7.7% on the year to 15.7 million euro in January-September, and net income declined 7% to 13.8 million euro, according to figures from parent NLB's interim financial report for the nine months ended September 30.
The Serbian lender's total assets increased by 9.4% on the year, reaching 306.6 million euro, NLB said.
NLB Banka Belgrade opened branches in Cacak, Sabac and Uzice this year, its parent said.
At the group level, NLB posted a consolidated net profit of 91.5 million euro in the first nine months of 2016, up 18% year-on-year.
