November 1 (SeeNews) - Oil company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest share turnover and on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as share indices increased, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,762 of the company's shares changed hands in 73 transactions, generating a turnover of 1.2 million dinars. Aerodrom Nikola Tesla lost 0.42% and closed at 703 dinars.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, as it won 5.95% and closed at 3,920 dinars. Only one share of the company was traded.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 0.19% to 732.12 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index increased 0.63%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went up 0.31% on Wednesday and closed at 1,607.46 points, after rising 0.63% on Tuesday.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] paced the blue-chip decliners on Wednesday, as its share price fell by 1.15% to 1,799 dinars. A total of 20 shares of the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 35,980 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 3.4 million dinars ($33,176/28,517 euro) on Wednesday from 11.8 million dinars on Tuesday, as 188 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 824,978 dinars.
