March 5 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 12,719 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 9.1 million dinars. NIS won 0.14% and closed at 719 dinars.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Monday, as it won 5.42% and closed at 739 dinars. A total of 41 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 30,299 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.49% to 751.50 points on Monday. On Friday, the index declined 0.37%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.66% on Monday and closed at 1,584.44 points, after decreasing 0.40% on Friday.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] paced the blue-chip decliners on Monday, as it lost 0.43% and closed at 1,628 dinars. A total of 32 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 52,010 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 13.7 million dinars ($142,862/116,056 euro) on Monday from 13.9 million dinars on Friday, as 176 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 1.2 million dinars.
