December 11 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as share indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,406 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.7 million dinars. NIS won 0.14% and closed at 700 dinars.
Agricultural chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Monday, as it won 2.38% and closed at 2,800 dinars. A total of 28 company shares were traded, generating a turnover of 2,800 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 0.36%% to 744.46 points on Monday. On Friday, the index fell 0.12%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.97% on Monday and closed at 1,614.42 points, after decreasing 0.10% on Friday.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade bourse on Monday, as it lost 0.68% to 1,455 dinars. A total of 98 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 142,561 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 3.8 million dinars ($37,422/31,753 euro) on Friday from 12.2 million dinars on Friday, as 224 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 200,603 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds generated 300 million dinars of the total turnover of 303.8 million dinars on the bourse.
