November 16 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest share turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices declined, bourse data showed.
A total of 41,123 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 29.4 million dinars. NIS closed flat at 1,400 dinars.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade bourse, after gaining 0.07% to 1,401 dinars. The company generated a turnover of 123,238 dinars, as 88 of its shares changed hands.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, edged down 0.03% to 733.26 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index decreased 0.75%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.06% on Thursday and closed at 1,610.00 points, after declining 0.12% on Wednesday.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as its share price fell 1.96% to 300 dinars. A total of 300 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 90,080 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 33.1 million dinars ($329,161/279,486 euro) on Thursday from 108.8 million dinars on Wednesday, as 154 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 704,660 dinars.
