November 13 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest share turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as share indices dropped, bourse data showed.
A total of 4,810 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 3.5 million dinars. NIS lost 0.28% and closed at 721 dinars.
Industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, as its share price rose 0.62% to 11,790 dinars. A total of 100 of the company's shares were traded, generating a turnover of 1.2 million dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, decreased 0.34% to 736.12 points on Monday. On Friday, the index rose 0.50%.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.20% on Monday and closed at 1,605.97 points, after increasing 0.33% on Friday.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] paced the blue-chip decliners on Monday, as its share price fell by 1.19% to 2,164 dinars. A total of 96 shares of the company changed hands.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 825.2 million dinars ($8.1 million/7.0 million euro) on Monday from 279.1 million dinars on Friday, as 151 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 117,860 dinars.
