March 11 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as stock indices closed up, bourse data showed.
A total of 721 NIS shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 515,355 dinars. NIS closed flat at 715 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.05% higher at 695.46 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price increased 0.42% to 717 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.02% to 1,535.26.
The total turnover on the bourse decreased to 1.7 million dinars ($16,200/14,404 euro) on Monday from 1.53 billion dinars on Friday, as 45 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 80,550 dinars.
No Treasury bonds were traded on the bourse on Monday.
