October 15 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 710 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 425,780 dinars. The company's share price rises 0.33% to 600 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.59% at 794.88 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price grew 3.14% to 1,083 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.25% at 1,673.96.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 4.8 million dinars ($47,390/40,820 euro) on Friday, down from 12.8 million dinars on Thursday, as 85 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 400,596 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 411,580 dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between October 11 and 15, BELEX15 went down 0.74%, while BELEXline fell 1.11%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 140.6million dinars, versus 990.7 million dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 101.3 million dinars this week, up from 970.8 million dinars last week.
