BELGRADE (Serbia), April 1 (SeeNews) – Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 22,510 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 12.2 million dinars. NIS closed down 1.27% at 543 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 3.53% at 658.97 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 20% to 900 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 1.90% at 1,463.41.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 14.1 million dinars ($131,000/120,000 euro) on Wednesday, down from 24.9 million dinars on Tuesday, as 77 transactions were carried out.
