February 11 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 3,078 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 2.3 million dinars. NIS closed flat at 749 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.04% at 813.07 points.
Household appliances maker Alfa plam [BEL:ALFA] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 0.38% to 26,500 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.01% at 1,750.66.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 52.9 million dinars ($491,300/450,100 euro) on Tuesday, down from 449.8 million dinars on Monday, as 94 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 316,910 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 30.9 million dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday.
