February 7 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 8,775 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 6.6 million dinars. NIS closed up 0.13% at 749 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 2.00% at 812.86 points.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 10.0% to 3,244 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.50% at 1,752.38.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 13.3 million dinars ($124,100/113,000 euro) on Friday, down from 675.8 million dinars on Thursday, as 107 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 3.8 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday.
