October 30 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,454 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 985,034 dinars. NIS shares closed down 0.15% at 676 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.03% higher at 749.79 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 0.75% to 811 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.03% at 1,609.79.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 3.6 million dinars ($34,040/30,642 euro) on Wednesday, down from Tuesday's 20.5 million dinars, as 103 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 1.7 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
