October 28 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 5,395 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 3.7 million dinars. NIS shares closed up 0.74% at 678 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.01% higher at 747.46 points.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 5.11% to 700 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.29% at 1,614.79.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 21.5 million dinars ($203,000/183,000 euro) on Monday, down from Friday's 606.3 million dinars, as 118 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 5 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday.
