May 17 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 9,934 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 7.2 million dinars ($68,230/61,064 euro). NIS share price stood flat at 725 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.02% higher at 732.14 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 0.13% to 800 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.01% to 1,557.48.
The total turnover on the bourse rose to 122.8 million dinars on Friday, from 109.5 million dinars on Thursday, as 169 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 461,195 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the stock market on Thursday.
In the period between May 13 and 17, BELEX15 rose by 0.06% and BELEXline went down by 1.27%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market in the period between May 13 and 17 was 288.9 million dinars, versus 2.869 billion dinars in the previous week.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 101.7 million dinars to the total turnover, versus 2.194 billion dinars last week.
