May 14 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 5,989 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 4.4 million dinars ($77,328/68,675 euro). NIS share price went down 0.27% to 727 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.35% higher at 735.08 points.
Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 1.92% to 5,200 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, grew 0.42% to 1,583.65.
The total turnover on the bourse rose to 20.4 million dinars on Tuesday, from 12.7 billion dinars on Monday, as 112 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 1.8 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the stock exchange on Tuesday.
