December 6 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 583 of NIS' shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 392,673 dinars. The company closed flat at 674 dinars.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 0.99% to 1,728 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.23% to 738.48 points on Thursday. The index fell 0.56% on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, grew 0.10% to 1,556.85 points on Thursday, after declining 0.28% on Wednesday.
None of the blue-chip index members closed down on Thursday.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse decreased to 1.8 million dinars ($17,312/15,242 euro) on Thursday from 12.9 million dinars on Wednesday, as 181 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 472,660 dinars.
