November 7 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 14,656 of NIS' shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 10 million dinars. The company closed flat at 685 dinars.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 12.78% to 150 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.71% to 747.15 points on Wednesday. The index rose 0.13% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.47% to 1,561.17 points on Wednesday, after growing 0.24% on Tuesday.
Household appliances maker Alfa plam [BEL:ALFA] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price fell 0.14% to 34,001 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 13.7 million dinars ($132,913/115,716 euro) on Wednesday from 3.7 million dinars on Tuesday, as 278 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 485,832 dinars.
