July 20 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 10,210 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 7.1 million dinars. NIS shares closed up 1.30% to 699 dinars.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, after winning 2.29% and closing at 1,740 dinars. A total of 3,031 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 5.3 million dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.88% to 742.40 points on Friday. The index fell 0.88% on Thursday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.55% to 1,546.16 points on Friday, after decreasing 0.48% on Thursday.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] paced the blue-chip decliners' list after losing 0.23% and closing at 3,023 dinars, as 36 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 108,840 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 23.5 million dinars ($233,270/199,225 euro) on Friday from 23 million dinars on Thursday, as 190 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 1.8 million dinars.
In the period between July 16 and 20, BELEX15 and BELEXline rose by 1.10% and 0.51%, respectively.
The total value of trading in shares on the Belgrade stock market in the period between July 16 and 20 was 138.3 million dinars, versus 44.4 million dinars in the previous week.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 722 million dinars to the total turnover, versus 293.7 million dinars last week.
