April 19 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 21,027 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 15.3 million dinars. NIS won 1.39% and closed at 727 dinars.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers' list, gaining 3.13% to 3,300 dinars. A total of 131 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 432,305 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.33% to 739.80 points on Thursday. The index fell 0.43% on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, added 0.13% on Thursday and closed at 1,567.43 points, after increasing 0.35% on Wednesday.
Soybean processing group Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as it lost 2.13% and closed at 230 dinars. The company generated a turnover of 9,200 dinars, as 40 of its shares changed hands.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 16.9 million dinars ($177,071/143,041 euro) on Thursday from 4.7 million dinars on Wednesday as 396 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 70,519 dinars.
