January 21 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,587 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 1.9 million dinars. NIS closed up 1.65% at 741 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.11% at 801.07 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.03% at 1,725.32.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 5.6 million dinars ($52,800/47,700 euro) on Tuesday, up from 4.5 million dinars on Monday, as 108 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 541,223 dinars.
No Treasury bonds change hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
