November 29 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,996 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 2.2 million dinars. NIS shares closed down 0.14% at 728 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.08% lower at 770.92 points.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 0.62% to 1,963 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.09% to 1,654.09.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 6.3 million dinars ($58,900/53,600 euro) on Friday, down from Thursday's 18.9 million dinars, as 121 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 2.7 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday.
In the period between November 25 and 29, BELEX15 grew by 0.86% and BELEXline rose by 0.68%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market in the period between November 25 and 29 was 26.246 billion dinars, versus 96.1 million dinars in the previous week.
Treasury bonds with a total value of 469.1 million dinars changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange this week versus 215,000 dinars last week.
