September 18 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 11,372 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 1.5 million dinars. NIS shares closed up 0.29% at 682 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.06% lower at 759.43 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.07% to 1,621.01.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 3.2 million dinars ($30,100/27,200 euro) on Wednesday, down from Tuesday's 75 million dinars, as 100 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 578,007 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
