June 12 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 3,490 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 2.5 million dinars. NIS closed at 716 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.08% lower at 731.10 points.
None of the members of the blue-chip index closed the session up.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed flat at 1,538.78.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 204.6 million dinars ($1.9 million/1.7 million euro) on Wednesday, as 101 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 2.1 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 199.3 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock market on Wednesday.
