April 5 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 6,013 NIS shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 4.5 million dinars. NIS won 2.20% and closed at 744 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.18% higher at 733.73 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 1.28% at 1,573.66.
The total turnover on the bourse decreased to 55.7 million dinars ($530,495/472,316 euro) on Friday from 479.1 million dinars on Thursday, as 162 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the Belgrade Stock Exchange resulted in a turnover of 404,720 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 47.6 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between April 1 and 5, BELEX15 rose by 0,11% and BELEXline went down by 1.24%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market in the period between April 1 and 5 was 2.627 billion dinars, versus 1.947 billion dinars in the previous week.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 2.573 billion dinars to the total turnover, versus 1.897 billion dinars last week.
