August 26 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,141 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 710,526 dinars. NIS' share price went down 0.48% to 623 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.13% at 799.91 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 0.10% to 1,027 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.14% at 1,698.29.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 1.0 million dinars ($10,000/8,500 euro) on Thursday, down from 7.7 million dinars on Wednesday, as 47 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 43,390 dinars.
