August 20 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 255 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 156,580 dinars. NIS' share price went down 0.16% to 614 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.54% at 802.34 points.
None of the blue chip index members closed up on Friday.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.27% at 1,712.22.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 430,751 dinars ($4.3 million/3.7 million euro) on Friday, down from 18.5 million dinars on Thursday, as 20 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 73,480 dinars.
In the period between August 16 and 20, BELEX15 went up 0.75%, while BELEXline rose 1.26%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 590.4 million dinars, versus 83.6 million dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 154.0 million dinars this week, versus 3.4 million dinars last week.
