January 14 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 144 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 107,282 dinars. NIS closed down 0.54% at 743 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.11% at 801.82 points.
No blue-chip index members closed the session up on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.10% at 1,724.35.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 6.2 million dinars ($58,695/52,744 euro) on Tuesday, down from 451.6 million dinars on Monday, as 33 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 5.4 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the stock exchange on Tuesday.
