May 16 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 5,252 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 3.8 million dinars ($36,090/32,207 euro). NIS share price stood flat at 725 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.14% lower at 732.0 points.
Aluminum maker Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 1.59% to 3,200 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 1.42% to 1,557.29.
The total turnover on the bourse rose to 109.5 million dinars on Thursday, from 23.7 billion dinars on Wednesday, as 115 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 116,850 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 101.8 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock market on Thursday.
