June 19 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,929 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2 million dinars. NIS won 0.15% and closed at 688 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went down 0.16% to 733.78 points on Tuesday. The index rose 0.58% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.09% to 1,547.63 points on Tuesday, after increasing 0.37% on Monday.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] paced the blue-chip decliners on Monday after losing 0.88% and closing at 1,685 dinars. A total of 153 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 256,020 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse declined to 4.5 million dinars ($44,087/38,098 euro) on Tuesday from 11.3 million dinars on Monday, as 133 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 882,765 dinars.
