December 1 (SeeNews) - Serbian oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the most traded company and the second biggest gainer among blue chips on the Belgrade stock market on Thursday, with the BELEXline keeping the positive trend and hitting another one-year high.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, added 0.96% to 701.30 after gaining 0.35% on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline index rose by 0.72% and reached a three-year high of 1,542,92 on Thursday, after hitting 1,531.84 points on Wednesday.
The share price of rubber and chemical products maker Tigar [BEL:TIGR] rose the most among the blue chips on Thursday, adding 15.38% to 105 dinars as 135 shares were traded.
Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] paced the blue-chip decliners, shedding 2.23% to 1,750 dinars with 1,009 shares changing hands.
NIS was the most traded blue-chip company with a turnover of 19.8 million dinars on Thursday. Its stock closed up 4.90% at 707 dinars.
Total turnover stood at 29.4 million dinars ($253,700/239,000 euro) on Thursday. During the previous session, the share turnover came in at 34.4 million dinars and trading in Treasury bonds generated additional 30.1 million dinars.
