June 19 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 7,270 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 5 million dinars. NIS closed at 686 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.05% lower at 720.02 points.
None of the members of BELEX15 closed the session up.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.28% to 1,523.62.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 366.1 million dinars ($3.5 million/3.1 million euro) on Wednesday, as 90 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 340,032 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 356.3 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock market on Wednesday.
