BELGRADE (Serbia), July 18 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 33,508 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 22.9 million dinars. NIS closed up 0.44% at 683 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.61% higher at 754.91 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price grew 3.11% to 896 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, grew 0.37% to 1,578.50.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 24.3 million dinars ($231,602/206,500 euro) on Thursday, down from Wednesday's 75 million dinars, as 65 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 258,700 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange today.
