BELGRADE (Serbia), October 7 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange indices closed down on Thursday, as construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] paced the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Jedinstvo's shares closed 0.73% lower at 8,800 dinars on Thursday. Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was another major decliner, with shares falling 0.33% to 601 dinars. NIS also generated the highest turnover of 461,164 dinars.
None of the blue chip members gained in share value.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.16% at 801.42 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.12% at 1,692.01.
The total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange went up to 330.6 million dinars ($330,400/285,900 euro) on Thursday from 320.2 million dinars generated on Wednesday.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 3,850 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 330 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange.
