June 25 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated almost two-thirds of Tuesday's trading turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
A total of 3,244 NIS' shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2.23 million dinars ($21,134/18,557 euro), up from Monday's 1.5 million dinars. NIS' shares closed 0.29% lower at 688 dinars on Tuesday, after climbing 0.15% in the previous day.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, closed 0.26% higher at 722.28 points.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] paced the blue-chip gainers, as its share price grew 4.53% to 1,800 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, gained 0.24% to 1,542.80.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 3.6 million dinars on Tuesday, slightly higher than Monday's 3.5 million dinars, as 63 transactions were carried out, down from Monday's 77.
There was no trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange, nor any Treasury bonds trading on Tuesday.
